Posting here is going to be very light for a couple of weeks. I’ll still be on Twitter, the Daily Photo will still go up every day, and there will be posts here, just not as frequently as in December.
During the next few weeks, we’re moving all our stuff from the flat into Joe’s parents’ house, where we’re going to stay for the next few months while we save up the money for a deposit for somewhere bigger of our own. When all our stuff is out, we need to make it look like a show-flat: this involves removing wine-stains, paw-prints, and every single cat-hair.
I’ve decided to hold off going back to work full-time until June/July. Sadly, this doesn’t give me any more time: it gives me less. In the next six months, I have to get the business side of Eric Likes Mango up and running, re-design the website and get it working with Aperture, get a studio set up… And I want to have some chilled-out time for David and I before his childminder comes back from maternity leave, I want to be able to phase him in again gradually without worrying about how much I’ve got to do, and I want to enjoy this little boy’s toddlerhood.
